Make Me Over
So my friend, Jenna & I have decided that we are going to work on our portfolios together. Shes going to do hair & Im going to do makeup. Charlie said he would do the photography for us. I already have one model, Airi. So now I need to buy an airbrush system or see if Julie will allow me to use hers.
I was offered a chance to work at Pistol Salon. Julie had me come in this past Thursday and shadow her. I did 2 shampoos and 3 waxes. I am scheduled for another shadow day next Saturday which is a prom day. Im also go in couple hours Tuesday and Thursday. It is a Paul Mitchell salon so Im learning things their way not how I was taught. So Ive been studying up on their products, etc.
I really need to be studying for boards too. I take them June 22nd. I am nervous bout my 90degree cut and my odorless nail. I need to study up on nail diseases and chemical texture services for the theory.

Sweet Dreams
This was my Love Horoscope...

Checked my inbox to find a message from a very interesting man. His profile is so impressive! Not gonna get too excited. Every male always seems perfect at first. Too good to be true. Right? I had a pretty good conversation with C (my daughter's father). I told him awhile back that there was no chance of us getting back together. Yet he is still trying. He wants the kids & I to move to Philly/Jersey with him. I told him its not a good idea. For one thing we cant be round each other & stay sober. He finally admitted to me that he hasnt been clean & sober. Anyway among good news... I got a job. Its not permanent yet. But its my dream job @Pistol Salon. My hair stylist Julie owns it. Its a Paul Mitchell Salon. I start Wednesday shadowing. Then I shadow on the 15th which is a prom day. Which scares the crap outta me! I can not do up-dos. Was never taught! I have to wear all black. Head to toe. Trendy & dressy. So shopping tomorrow.

Sonia Kasuk Haul
Also while we were in Altoona, we stopped @Target. Been craving some Sonia Kasuk makeup brushes. I picked up 4 of them.
The black multi purpose brush was $10.99 & the black eyeshadow crease brush was $9.99. The white smudge brush & the white small eyeshadow brush were both $4.99. Im so excited to try these out and I will let you know what I think.

Art Store Haul
There is no Michael's where I live. The closest big art/craft store is AC Moore in Altoona, PA. It is an hour away. Today my son & I made a trip. I was looking for the Pink soap brush cleaner which they did not have. But I did pick up some things.
Spatulas I also picked up while @AC Moore. They also have plastic spatulas and all kinds of different sizes of metals one too. You can buy them in packets or singles. I use these for getting pigments or creams out of the containers in a sanitary fashion. I also use them for mixing up stuff. I got these on sale for $2.00 each.
Brush Case I got @ AC Moore. It hold 16 regular handle brushes. They also have a longer one for long handle brushes, if you were going to use it for paint brushes. But of course Im going to use mine for my makeup brushes. I already have a brush roll and a mini travel brush case. But I have way to many brushes and like this one alot. It not only has the 16 brush slots but also has big pockets behind them to put spatulas or other things in. Maybe tissues or a pack of makeup wipes. I paid $5.99.
