Make Me Over

So my friend, Jenna & I have decided that we are going to work on our portfolios together. Shes going to do hair & Im going to do makeup. Charlie said he would do the photography for us. I already have one model, Airi. So now I need to buy an airbrush system or see if Julie will allow me to use hers.
I was offered a chance to work at Pistol Salon. Julie had me come in this past Thursday and shadow her. I did 2 shampoos and 3 waxes. I am scheduled for another shadow day next Saturday which is a prom day. Im also go in couple hours Tuesday and Thursday. It is a Paul Mitchell salon so Im learning things their way not how I was taught. So Ive been studying up on their products, etc.
I really need to be studying for boards too. I take them June 22nd. I am nervous bout my 90degree cut and my odorless nail. I need to study up on nail diseases and chemical texture services for the theory.

Thats what my horoscope said. Interesting. Since things between B (my son's father)& I have sizzled out. Ive decided to try online dating again. Checked my inbox to find a message from a very interesting man. His profile is so impressive! Not gonna get too excited. Every male always seems perfect at first. Too good to be true. Right? I had a pretty good conversation with C (my daughter's father). I told him awhile back that there was no chance of us getting back together. Yet he is still trying. He wants the kids & I to move to Philly/Jersey with him. I told him its not a good idea. For one thing we cant be round each other & stay sober. He finally admitted to me that he hasnt been clean & sober. Anyway among good news... I got a job. Its not permanent yet. But its my dream job @Pistol Salon. My hair stylist Julie owns it. Its a Paul Mitchell Salon. I start Wednesday shadowing. Then I shadow on the 15th which is a prom day. Which scares the crap outta me! I can not do up-dos. Was never taught! I have to wear all black. Head to toe. Trendy & dressy. So shopping tomorrow.
